Standard Loose Leaf Tea Preparation

All of the below recipes are suggested tea brewing for tea bases. These bases are intended for being iced and flavored prior to drinking for the best result.

  • 1 g. of Loose Green Tea Leaves

  • 45 ml. of 83° Celsius Water

Add the Tea Leaves to the Water and allow to steep for 8-10 minutes. Strain the tea leaves out and use this hot tea as a base for fruit or milk teas.

  • 1 g. of Loose Black Tea Leaves

  • 35 ml. of 90° Celsius Water

Add the Tea Leaves to the Water and allow to steep for 12 minutes. Strain the tea leaves out, and use this hot tea as a base for fruit or milk teas.

  • 1 g. of Loose Oolong Tea Leaves

  • 35 ml. of 85° Celsius Water

Add the Tea Leaves to the Water and allow to steep for 7-9 minutes. Strain the tea leaves out, and use this hot tea as a base for fruit or milk teas.

  • 1 bag of Loose Thai Tea Leaves (13oz)

  • 10 Liter of boiling water

  • 48oz Golden Cane Sugar

Add the Loose Thai Tea Leaves and Golden Cane Sugar to the boiling water. Boil the mixture for 10 minutes. Next, set aside the entire mixture to allow it to continue steeping overnight or a minimum of 6 hours. Finally, filter out the tea leaves and your base is complete.

Now you’re ready to serve.

For a 16oz drink serving, pour 10oz of pre-sweetened Thai Tea base into a cup with ice and top off with about 2oz of half and half creamer.
